In a landmark court case filed in the Netherlands by Dutch environmental organisation “Milieudefensie” together with other organisations and 17.000 citizens, ruled that Shell needs to reduce their carbon emissions by 45% in 2030 relative to 2019 levels. This includes their suppliers and customers.
